Pet rehab information for owners
We are committed to providing a caring, friendly and professional service to all our clients and patients
Please keep your dog on a lead in the carpark and in the centre.
Please bring indoor shoes to wear in the clinic
If you are being referred from another practice and your are not seeing the Vet (Rachel Mowbray) please ensure your vet has completed the referral form before your appointment.
We may take video footage for analysis during treatments, photographs may also be taken. We may use these for educational talks or on our website so please let us know if you are not happy for pictures and videos to be used in this way.
We reserve the right to refuse treatment to an animal if necessary.
Please provide 24 hours notice of cancellation of an appointment. A missed appointment fee may be charged if less than 24 hours notice given.
Payment for services is due at the time of treatment unless a direct insurance claim has been agreed in advance.
The car park is used at your own risk, we take no responsibility for any damage, theft or injury caused by persons using the car park.
Dogs with vomiting, diarrhoea or cough can not be treated in the centre. We may be able to provide treatment away from the centre if necessary so please contact us for advice.
Special instructions for hydrotherapy
Please do not feed your pet for two hours before the session. If your pet requires medication it can be given in a treat or small amount of food.
Please bring enough towels to dry your dog after a session in the treadmill. A coat is advised to use after hydrotherapy unless the weather is very warm.
We maintain the highest water quality at all times with records kept of water testing.
We are not able to treat bitches in season in the water treadmill - please discuss alternatives with us.
Dogs with vomiting, diarrhoea, cough or contagious eye, ear or skin disease can not be treated in the treadmill.
Please allow time to toilet your dog on arrival, there is plenty of grass available for this. Please clear up after your dog - a poo pin is available on site. If a dog fouls in the treadmill there is a surcharge of £100 as the treadmill will have to be emptied and closed for cleaning and subsequent sessions cancelled.
