Rachel MowbrayBVSc MRCVS CCRP
Rachel Mowbray qualified from Bristol university in 2000. Her passion for veterinary rehabilitation started with discovering the sport of agility with her first dog Border terrier Nutmeg. They started competing in agility in 2002 and competed in many major finals including 7 years internationally on the British Agility team. Nutmeg was the first Border Terrier to become an agility champion in the UK and also won a medal at the world championships in Helsinki 2009.
Rachel has been veterinary surgeon for team GB since 2009 and has a broad range of experience in injury rehabilitation and management of dogs during international travel and high level competition.
She currently competes with border terriers Teasel and her young dog Nellie is just starting her agility career. Rachel has qualifications in acupuncture and hydrotherapy and is a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner (CCRP)
